Idea

Have you ever bought a bad gift for a friend or family member?

We wanted to eliminate the uncertainty that comes with possibly buying bad gifts. Therefore, this mobile app aims to eliminate this uncertainty by having Wishlists of the items we want, tied to our Facebook accounts, that can be viewed by a gifter.

This project was done over the summer for NUS Orbital 2019 where we could work on any SWE project of our liking and with any tech stack. This project was nominated for Judge's choice in the top category(Apollo 11) at the time.

Closing thoughts

This project required us to do our own learning and research as to how to build an app from scratch. It was my first taste into SWE and was a nice change of pace as compared to solving coding problems in school at the time. Special thanks to my teammate Si Ning for helping me out with this project!
